Stone PhD Fellowship

The Stone Center on Global Wealth Dynamics is organizing an annual call for applications to fund 4-year doctoral fellowships for research projects on inequalities at the Paris School of Economics (PSE). Successful candidates will join the PSE doctoral program and will be enrolled at the ED 465.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A Master’s degree (Master 2) in Economics.
  • A minimum average grade of 14 for Master 2 courses and 15 or higher for the Master’s thesis.
  • The agreement and support of a potential thesis supervisor at PSE.
  • Full-time commitment to the PhD program.

Application Documents:

The application, which can be submitted in French or English via the dedicated Framaform, must include the following documents:

  • A research proposal.
  • An updated CV.
  • Transcripts from the Bachelor’s, Master 1, and Master 2 programs.
  • The Master’s thesis.
  • A letter of recommendation.
  • A motivated letter from a potential thesis supervisor.

Evaluation Process:

  1. The scientific committee of the Stone Center PSE evaluates and pre-selects the applications.
  2. The PSE training committee reviews and validates the pre-selected applications (an interview with the candidates may be organized).
