Theo Ribas Palomo is a PhD candidate in Economics at the Paris School of Economics (PSE). His research focuses on public economics, tax policy, and wealth and income inequality, with a particular emphasis on Global South countries.
Theo holds an MSc in Analysis and Policy in Economics (APE) from the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (FEA/USP). He was a founding member and former researcher at the Research Center on Macroeconomics of Inequalities (Made) at FEA/USP. His research and policy contributions have been featured in prominent Brazilian media outlets, including Folha de São Paulo, BBC Brasil, and Valor Econômico. He has also worked as a research assistant at the Centro de Gestão e Políticas Públicas (CGPP) at Insper, São Paulo.
