Eva Davoine is a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. She has previously worked as a Research Fellow at the World Bank, where she researched informal consumption patterns in developing countries and contributed to the analysis of optimal taxation policies. Her research experience also includes working at the Conseil d’analyse économique (CAE) in Paris, where she analyzed the economic determinants of social movements in France.

Eva holds a dual Master’s degree in Economics and Quantitative Economics Methods (QEM) from Sciences Po and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She has also contributed to policy research at institutions such as UN Women and the World Bank’s Middle East and North Africa Chief Economist Office.
